MD Pathology

Must have completed MBBS with a 1-year compulsory rotatory internship.

Must have permanent/provisional registration with NMC/State Medical Council.

Must qualify NEET-PG.

Participation in All India Quota (AIQ) / State quota counselling is required.

Must meet medical fitness criteria set by the institute.

The M.D. (Pathology) program provides comprehensive training in diagnostic laboratory medicine, covering histopathology, cytology, hematology, and biochemical pathology. Students receive extensive hands-on exposure in specimen processing, slide interpretation, special staining, frozen sections, and laboratory management. The program emphasizes diagnostic accuracy, research skills, and participation in clinicopathological meetings, seminars, and case discussions. Graduates become proficient in laboratory operations and disease diagnosis, preparing them for careers in hospitals, academic institutions, research centers, and private diagnostic laboratories.

1. Register for NEET-PG with the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
2. Appear for and qualify the examination.
3. Participate in MCC (AIQ) or State counselling.
4. Choose M.D. Pathology during option entry.
5. Receive seat allotment based on rank and preferences.
6. Report to the allotted institute for document verification.
7. Pay admission fees and confirm your seat.
8. Join the course as per the academic calendar.
