MD Pathology

1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised institution.
2. Permanent medical registration with a State Medical Council.
3. Qualified NEET‑PG examination for the current admissions cycle.
4. Completion of compulsory 1‑year internship as required for postgraduate entry.
5. Submission of required documents (NEET‑PG rank card, MBBS degree & marksheets, internship certificate, registration certificate, identity and category certificates).

The MD – Pathology program at KVG Medical College & Hospital, Sullia is a three‑year postgraduate medical course that provides comprehensive training in the laboratory and diagnostic aspects of medicine. The curriculum includes histopathology (study of diseased tissues), cytopathology (cellular pathology), haematology, clinical pathology, and other allied specialities that are critical for diagnosing various diseases. Students gain hands‑on experience in processing and interpreting tissue biopsies, blood samples, body fluids, and other specimens under the guidance of experienced faculty.

The Pathology department is equipped with teaching laboratories, microscopy facilities, and diagnostic equipment to support both academic learning and clinical research exposure.
