The MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology program at AIIMS Raebareli is a comprehensive three-year postgraduate training designed to produce skilled specialists in women’s health. The curriculum provides extensive exposure to antenatal care, labor and delivery management, high-risk obstetrics, gynecological disorders, infertility management, and operative gynecology. Residents receive hands-on training in labor rooms, operation theatres, outpatient clinics, emergency services, and inpatient wards. Academic activities include seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, clinical audits, and supervised research work. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, ethical patient care, and development of teaching and research skills, preparing graduates for clinical, academic, and leadership roles in obstetrics and gynaecology.

1. Complete MBBS and internship from an NMC-recognised institution
2. Register for INI-CET during the application period
3. Appear for INI-CET and obtain a qualifying rank
4. Participate in INI-CET counselling for Institutes of National Importance
5. Choose AIIMS Raebareli – MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology during choice filling
6. Seat allotment based on rank, category, and preferences
7. Report to AIIMS Raebareli for document verification and medical examination
8. Complete admission formalities and commence residency training
