MD Microbiology

1. MBBS degree recognized under the NMC/Medical Council of India regulations.
2. Completion or likely completion of one-year internship by the specified cutoff date.
3. Permanent or provisional registration with the National Medical Commission / State Medical Council.
4. Valid NEET PG score meeting qualifying percentile for counseling.
5. Participation in state/national counseling rounds.

The MD in Microbiology program at MIMER Pune is a rigorous three-year postgraduate medical degree designed to advance the clinical and laboratory expertise of medical graduates in the field of microbiology. The curriculum, as per MUHS standards, equips students with in-depth knowledge of microbial pathogens, laboratory diagnostic techniques (including culture, sensitivity testing, serology, molecular diagnostics, and infection control methods), and interpretation of test results that guide patient care.
