Eligibility

    • Completed (or expected to complete) the internship by the required date. 
    • Appeared for and qualified for the NEET PG (or the relevant PG medical entrance) and participated in counselling. 
    • Candidates may need to satisfy domicile or state-quota conditions (for J&K/UT seats) as per institutional/state counselling norms. 
    • Other criteria such as category-wise minimums, medical fitness, document submission, etc., as per the official notification.

Admission Process:

    1. Complete MBBS + internship + registration with the Medical Council.
    2. Appear for the NEET PG examination (or the relevant PG medical entrance) and achieve the qualifying score.
    3. Register for the postgraduate medical counselling (state quota / all-India quota) as per J&K/UT rules. 
    4. Apply and fill choice preferences for “MD Microbiology – GMC Jammu” in the counselling process. 
    5. Seat allotment is done based on NEET PG rank, category/quotas, domicile eligibility and seat availability (intake ~2 seats). 
    6. After allotment, report to the college with original documents (MBBS certificate, internship certificate, registration, NEET PG scorecard, identity proof, domicile certificate if applicable).
    7. Pay the programme fee, complete registration with the department, attend orientation and begin the academic & clinical schedule.
