The MD General Medicine program at Adesh Medical College & Hospital is a three-year postgraduate course designed to train physicians in comprehensive internal medicine. Over this period, students gain both theoretical insights and hands-on clinical skills, managing patients across diverse settings—wards, OPDs, emergency, ICU etc. The department has a 150-bed medicine ward, with a team of PG residents, junior residents, and nursing staff overseeing male and female wards. Students learn to handle diagnostic reasoning, therapeutic planning, management of acute and chronic medical problems, preventive care, and coordination with allied specialties. The department is also active in research, with published works, and offers experience in departmental presentations, seminars, case discussions. The infrastructure supports modern teaching methods and patient care services. The degree is valid nationwide under NMC regulations, ensuring recognition and eligibility for further specialization or practice.

1. Complete MBBS + mandatory internship.
2. Appear for NEET PG and obtain a valid score.
3. Check category-specific and state cutoffs/percentile criteria.
4. Participate in the counselling process (state or national, as applicable) for MD/MS seats. Adesh PG seats are allotted via the counselling conducted under the affiliating university/state medical education department.
5. Once the seat is allotted, document verification (MBBS certificate, internship certificate, registration certificate, NEET PG rank card, etc.).
6. Payment of fees, enrollment.
7. Begin academic schedule: attend orientation, classes, ward postings, rotations, etc.
