MD Forensic Medicine

• Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised institution
• Internship: Completion of the compulsory rotating internship
• Entrance Exam: Qualify in the INI-CET for MD/MS admissions

The MD Forensic Medicine program at AIIMS Bilaspur is a three-year postgraduate course designed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills in forensic medicine and toxicology. The curriculum includes:

• Clinical Training: Hands-on experience in medico-legal autopsies, toxicological analysis, and other forensic procedures
• Academic Coursework: Study of forensic pathology, toxicology, legal aspects of medicine, and forensic psychiatry
• Research: Opportunities to engage in forensic research projects
• Exposure: Access to a variety of medico-legal cases through the associated hospital

Graduates are expected to be proficient in handling medico-legal cases, conducting autopsies, and providing expert testimony in legal settings.

1. Eligibility: Ensure you meet the educational qualifications and have completed the compulsory internship
2. Entrance Exam: Register and appear for the INI-CET for MD/MS admissions
3. Rank List: Obtain a rank that meets or exceeds the cutoff for MD Forensic Medicine at AIIMS Bilaspur
4. Counselling: Participate in the counselling process for seat allocation
5. Admission: Upon seat allocation, complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment
