Minimum Education

The MD – Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy program at KVG Medical College & Hospital, Sullia is a comprehensive three-year postgraduate clinical training course designed to produce competent dermatologists with strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills. The program provides extensive exposure to common and complex dermatological disorders, sexually transmitted diseases, and leprosy management.
Residents receive hands-on training in outpatient and inpatient dermatology services, dermatological procedures, venereology clinics, and leprosy care programs. The curriculum also includes training in dermatosurgery, cosmetic dermatology procedures, laser basics, and interpretation of dermatopathology.
Affiliated with RGUHS and recognized by the NMC, KVG Medical College offers a structured academic environment with regular seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, and research activities. Graduates are well-prepared for independent dermatology practice, hospital-based roles, academic careers, and further fellowship training.
