Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced subspecialty training in the management of high-risk and complicated pregnancies. Fellows gain clinical experience in maternal and fetal assessment, prenatal diagnosis, fetal ultrasound, reproductive genetics, and the evaluation and management of pregnancy-related complications. Training includes multidisciplinary collaboration with specialists, faculty and other healthcare professionals, along with participation in specialty clinics, consultations, conferences and research activities. The program provides exposure to complex maternal and fetal conditions and develops fellows’ skills in evidence-based clinical decision-making and comprehensive care throughout pregnancy. Cedars-Sinai’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine division also supports clinical research in areas such as pregnancy complications, fetal growth abnormalities and perinatal outcomes.

1. Prepare the fellowship application and required supporting documents.
2. Submit the application through the application route specified by the Cedars-Sinai Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship program.
3. Provide academic and professional documents, including curriculum vitae, medical school records, personal statement, examination/licensure information, and letters of recommendation as requested by the program.
4. The fellowship program reviews applications and shortlists eligible candidates.
5. Shortlisted applicants are invited for an interview with the program faculty.
6. Selected candidates complete Cedars-Sinai credentialing, licensing, and Graduate Medical Education onboarding requirements before beginning fellowship training.
