Any UG / PG Degree approved by recognized university with preference to candidates who have studied atleast one paper related to Psychology.

Counselling Psychology is the largest specialty area within Psychology. The Society of counselling Psychology describes this field as psychological specialty that facilitates personal and interpersonal functioning across the lifespan with a focus on emotional, social, vocational, educational, health – related, developmental and organizational concerns. The major role of counselling psychologists involves the practical application of psychological ethics and rules to help a person transform, improve and adjust or manage their situation in a better manner.

Outcome: Counselling Psychology program offered in CARE is a specialized innovative program at postgraduate level to influence teaching, research and academic excellence in the specific area towards societal development. The programme applies new methods both within and outside classrooms to acquire hands on experience at interdisciplinary departments such as Psychiatry, Community Medicine, Fertility & Reproductive Medicine, Cardiology and Nephrology.
