Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) in Pharmaceutics

The candidate who has passed Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. Obtained at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

• The Department of Pharmceutics provides strength in both education and research. Members of the department include faculty, graduate students, and staff who are engaged in multi-disciplinary Pharmceutical research and teaching at the graduate and postgraduate level.
• Pharmceutics is designed to impart knowledge on various aspects of drug design, development, testing, and safe and effective use of drugs/medicines including drug delivery systems. The department focuses on unique concepts to develop skillful process (es)/techniques for designing, procuring and evaluating various kinds of drugs and drug delivery systems. The Department has a rich tradition of innovation and advancement of health through new knowledge. Our faculty members have made significant contributions in enhancing drug delivery. In addition to teaching, all faculty members are involved in research projects at UG and PG level. Research in the Pharmceutics Department encompasses basic, applied and clinical investigations in Pharmcokinetics/ bioPharmceutics, Pharmceutical biotechnology and drug delivery, herbal medicine.
• While students choose one particular area of Pharmceutical research, they will be exposed to many other aspects of the Pharmceutical sciences in order to round out their educational experience.
