Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics and Crown Bridge

Overview

The Department of Prosthodontics is the largest Department of the college. The subject of Prosthodontics is very vast as it includes Complete Dentures, Removable Partial Denture, Crowns & Fixed Partial Dentures, Implants and Maxillofacial Prosthesis. In addition to these, the subject of Dental Materials is also taught in the department to the BDS students. The intake of MDS Students is six per year, which sums up to a total of eighteen PG students pursuing MDS courses at one time.

Eligibility

A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.
