Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Shillong

The IIPH Shilong is an autonomous institute, established by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). It provides academic courses of Post Graduate Diploma in Health Economics, Health Care Financing and Health Policy Program, targeted at mid-career health professionals. It also offers an Integrated MSc & PhD program in Clinical Research (in collaboration with AcSIR) and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM). The institute has also expanded its activities in E-learning, training, research, advocacy and policy formulations in different areas of public health. Faculty members are with wide experiences ranging from Public Health, Community Medicine, Epidemiology, Health Management, Biostatistics, Demography, Health Economics, Health Policy, Health Social Sciences, Anthropology, Environmental & Occupational Health and Public Health Nutrition. Strong multidisciplinary teams representing major public health disciplines, with a broad range of technical and academic expertise, enable a multidimensional perspective to enrich the educational and research programs at the institute.
