Hematology & Oncology Fellowship

1. Medical degree (MD/DO or equivalent).
2. Completion of an Internal Medicine residency is required for the Hematology & Oncology fellowship.
3. Applicants must meet Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education eligibility requirements.
4. International medical graduates must have graduated from a medical school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and must have current ECFMG certification or appropriate U.S. medical licensure.
5. Candidates must also meet any additional specialty-specific eligibility requirements applicable to the fellowship.

The Hematology & Oncology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles provides advanced clinical training in the diagnosis and management of patients with hematologic disorders and cancers. Fellows gain experience in the evaluation and treatment of a broad range of malignant and non-malignant blood disorders, participate in multidisciplinary patient care, and develop skills in clinical decision-making, research, and academic medicine. The program provides a comprehensive environment for fellows to develop expertise in hematology and medical oncology.

1. Submit the required fellowship application and supporting documents.
2. Provide academic credentials, medical school records, residency information, examination scores and required letters of recommendation.
3. The program reviews applications and selects qualified candidates for interview.
4. Shortlisted applicants participate in the interview and selection process.
5. Selected candidates complete Cedars-Sinai GME credentialing, licensing and appointment requirements before beginning fellowship training.
