Government Medical College (GMC), Vizianagaram

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to establish a Government Medical College in every district. At present in the state of Andhra Pradesh, there are 11 Government Medical Colleges in 13 Districts except West Godavari and Vizianagaram District. There is a need for the establishment of Medical Colleges in these 2 districts also. The Directorate of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh has furnished detailed proposal for establishing a Medical college at Vizianagaram with detailed estimates certified by APMSIDC.
