Overview

Government Medical College, Vizianagaram, established in 2008 and upgraded to a teaching institution in 2022, is dedicated to delivering high-quality medical education in Andhra Pradesh. The MBBS program, with an annual intake of 150 seats, is sanctioned by the NMC and meticulously structured to cover pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical training while ensuring extensive hands-on exposure through its affiliated hospital network. Eligibility

Passed 10 + 2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

NEET-UG qualification (minimum percentile as per category: General – 50%, SC/ST/OBC – 40%).

Must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
