The General Surgery Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a five-year training program that provides comprehensive clinical and academic education in general surgery. Residents receive progressive responsibility and hands-on experience across a broad range of surgical specialties, including gastrointestinal, colorectal, vascular, trauma, surgical oncology, breast, endocrine and minimally invasive surgery. The program combines operative training with surgical conferences, research, teaching activities and multidisciplinary patient care, preparing residents for independent surgical practice or advanced fellowship training.
