The Psychiatry Residency Program is a comprehensive four-year residency designed to develop future psychiatry physician-scholars and leaders through clinical training, academic scholarship, and leadership development. Residents gain diverse clinical experience across USC Arcadia Hospital, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, Keck Hospital of USC, and the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, with exposure to inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, forensic/community psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and substance-use treatment. The program also provides opportunities for research, scholarly activities, and professional development.
