General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Overview

Campus: The Vinayak College of Nursing Hathoj, Jaipur is a unit of DALIT BAL VIKAS & SHIKSHAN SANSTHAN established in the year 2004-2005 Jaipur, Rajasthan. The College has successfully running toward completion of five year of operation.

Ultra Modern Campus: VINAYAK present campus is developed keeping in mind scalability, which accounts for future advancements. Presently, it is one of the finest medical education infrastructures in Rajasthan, India. The present campus holds distinction of the following:

• Modern classrooms.
• 100 seating capacity seminar hall with fitted LCD projector, PA system, podium and center stage, etc.
• Fully equipped modern and contemporary library.
• Computer labs with around 30 computers.

LABORATORIES:

• The Nursing Learning Laboratories consist of a nursing skills lab, physical assessment lab, and human patient simulation lab provide students with a variety of opportunities to see, learn, and practice nursing skills and procedures in a simulated setting.
• The lab is staffed by faculty and graduate assistants who are always available to assist students. The lab also contains many resources available to students such as equipment, books, and journals.
• Our Human Patient Simulation Lab provides a home to several mannequins; two infants, one child, two adults, and a laboring female. Designed as a high fidelity environment, Vinayak college of nursing provides students with an opportunity to use all of the skills and knowledge acquired in a safe, non-threatening environment. Students are able to combine the skills acquired in the Health Assessment and Skills Lab with the theory behind nursing practice learned in the classroom and apply them in the safety of a simulated environment.

LIBRARY:

• The library of the institute has an excellent collection of reference / textbooks and periodicals related to various fields with an on -process updation. From time to time, books and journals are added to the present ‘printed friends’ to fulfill the demands of the faculty and the students.
• VINAYAK facilitates all national, international good range of newspapers in the library.
• VINAYAK library subscribes to a number of reputed journals and books.
• Indian and foreign periodicals and catalogs covering various fields.

Eligibility

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from state open school recognized by state govt. and national institute of open school (NIOS) recognized by central government .However science is preferable.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational stream-Health care science from recognized CBSE Board/Center.
• Registered ANM with pass marks.
