Eligibility

    • To be eligible for admission, applicants need to be at least 17 years old as of August 31st and not older than 35 years. Married individuals are also welcome to apply.
    • Educationally, applicants must have successfully completed their 10+2 studies, preferably in Science, yet candidates from Arts, Commerce, and Vocational courses are also acceptable, provided they have achieved a minimum of 40% marks.
    • All applicants must be declared medically fit.
    • The selection process for both Government and Management seats is merit-based and overseen by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Shimla. This includes a counseling procedure that typically occurs each year in the months of July and August.

    Documents required at the time of admission:

    • Five photocopies of the Matriculation Certificate and the Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) along with mark sheets.
    • Aadhar Card.
    • Character and Conduct Certificate issued by a competent authority.
    • Medical fitness certificate from a Government Senior Medical Officer/Surgeon.
    • Six recent colored passport-sized photographs.
    • Residence/Domicile Certificate.
    • Four photocopies of the Migration Certificate.
    • Caste or category certificates for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, or BPL categories.
