Overview
- Have the aptitude, knowledge and skill necessary for assessing nursing needs of the individuals throughout the life-cycle, families and communities;
- Apply relevant knowledge from biological and behavioral sciences in planning and carrying out safe nursing care activities;
- Co-operate with other members of the health team in the hospital or in the community in prevention of disease, promotion of health, restoration of health and rehabilitation; d) impart health knowledge to individuals and groups through health education;
- Demonstrate skill in the use of problem solving methods in nursing practice;
- Demonstrate ability to supervise and guide auxiliary personnel who are part of the nursing team;
- Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to professional behaviour;
- Carry out the above in the true Christian spirit of service to fellowmen and be committed to the welfare of our country.

Eligibility
- The applicant must have passed 10+2 Examination of board of school education Haryana or any examination recognized as equivalent there to with minimum 45% in aggregate marks (40% marks for the reserved category SC/ST).
- 10+2 vocational ANM course recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi.
- ANM training i.e. 10th pass plus one and half year training and should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination.
- Age limit: 17-35 years, however the age limit of 17-35 years for in service ANM/LHV there is not applicable.
- Candidate must be medically fit and medical fitness certificate shall have to be produced at the time of admission.
