General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

A nurse, on completion of this course will be able to:

• Demonstrate competency in providing health care to individual, sick or well, using nursing process.
• Assess the nursing need of clients from birth to death.
• Plan and carry out appropriate action to meet nursing needs.
• Promote self care in people under their care.
• Apply problem solving technique in nursing practice.
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing care.

• Candidate must have Minimum Education: 10+2 class passed or it is equivalent preferably with science (physics, chemistry, and biology) subjects with an aggregate of 50% marks.
• Age Limit:- Candidate should have completed the age of 17 before admission.
