Overview
- The Diploma of General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) is a 3 (three) years full time Boarding Course, Including internship of 6 (six) months/ 26 weeks.
- There will be a probational period of three months / 13 weeks, during the period the students will be introduced to basic science like -Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- An examination will be held at the end of three months to asses the students ability to enter the professional nursing course Successful students will be introduced to the Professional Nursing Course.

Eligibility
- Male, Female & 3rd Gender candidate can take admission in GNM. For ANM female candidates only.
- Minimum qualification HSSLC (10+2) standard or its equivalent in all streams with minimum 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board/council/ university. Relaxation of 5% of marks for ST/SC & OBC candidates.
- The minimum age for admission is 17 years as or 31st December of the admission year and maximum of 30 years as on 31st December of the same year.
- Preference will be given to the Science Stream candidates only.
