Fellowship in Transplant Nephrology

• Must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology (ABIM or equivalent).
• Must have completed or be completing an ACGME-accredited General Nephrology Fellowship (or equivalent for international applicants).
• Demonstrated interest in kidney transplantation and transplant nephrology.
• International applicants with equivalent training are eligible for consideration.

The Transplant Nephrology Fellowship is a 1-year advanced clinical fellowship that provides specialized training in kidney and kidney-pancreas transplantation. Fellows gain extensive experience in the evaluation and management of transplant recipients and living donors, immunosuppressive therapy, transplant-related infections, graft dysfunction, organ procurement, and post-transplant care. Training includes inpatient and outpatient rotations, multidisciplinary transplant conferences, research, and teaching opportunities. Fellows also participate in kidney transplant selection committees, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly activities, preparing them for careers in transplant nephrology and academic medicine.
