The Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship is a one-year advanced fellowship providing comprehensive training in the management of degenerative, athletic, and traumatic conditions of the shoulder and elbow. Fellows gain high-volume experience in both arthroscopic and open surgery, including primary and revision procedures and advanced surgical techniques. The program includes an ASES-directed core curriculum, weekly didactic lectures, monthly research meetings, cadaveric wet-lab training, and opportunities for resident education. Fellows also have access to clinical and basic science research resources and are expected to complete a first-author research project with manuscript submission to a peer-reviewed journal by the end of the fellowship.
