Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow

The Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship is a one-year advanced fellowship providing comprehensive training in the management of degenerative, athletic, and traumatic conditions of the shoulder and elbow. Fellows gain high-volume experience in both arthroscopic and open surgery, including primary and revision procedures and advanced surgical techniques. The program includes an ASES-directed core curriculum, weekly didactic lectures, monthly research meetings, cadaveric wet-lab training, and opportunities for resident education. Fellows also have access to clinical and basic science research resources and are expected to complete a first-author research project with manuscript submission to a peer-reviewed journal by the end of the fellowship.

1. Apply through the San Francisco Match (SF Match)
2. Complete the Central Application Service (CAS) application
3. Submit the application by December 1
4. Ensure all required documentation for legal training eligibility is provided
5. IMG applicants should review the applicable CU Anschutz GME requirements
6. Participate in the program's selection/interview process
7. Successful candidates enter the 1-year fellowship, running from August 1 to July 31
