Fellowship in Rheumatology

The Rheumatology Fellowship Program provides comprehensive clinical and scholarly training in the diagnosis and management of common and complex rheumatic and autoimmune diseases. Fellows gain diverse experience at Los Angeles General Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, with exposure to inpatient and outpatient rheumatology, ultrasound, clinical trials, research, and musculoskeletal conditions. The program also includes regular clinical conferences, journal club, core lectures, and a required scholarly project to develop clinical expertise, critical thinking, and research skills.

1. Apply through the fellowship application process for the USC/Los Angeles General Medical Center Rheumatology Fellowship.
2. Submit the required academic and training information and supporting application materials.
3. Applications are reviewed based on overall achievement, clinical preparation, scholarly potential, and personal attributes rather than specific exam-score cutoffs.
4. Shortlisted applicants participate in the interview process.
5. Selected candidates enter the Rheumatology Fellowship Program.
