The Regional Anesthesia & Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a one-year, high-volume fellowship focused on advanced training in regional anesthesia, acute pain management, and ambulatory anesthesia. Fellows develop expertise in ultrasound-guided and nerve-stimulator techniques, including upper- and lower-extremity, truncal, single-shot and continuous peripheral nerve blocks, as well as neuraxial techniques. Training also includes management of postoperative and acute-on-chronic pain, Acute Pain Service rounds, ambulatory anesthesia, structured didactics, journal clubs, teaching, and clinical research opportunities.
