The Pediatric Obesity Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 1-year clinical fellowship focused on the comprehensive management of obesity in children and adolescents. The program provides multidisciplinary training in behavioral, nutritional, pharmacological, and surgical approaches to obesity treatment. Fellows receive supervised clinical experience in the Pediatric Weight Management Clinic, participate in didactic education, and complete a research or quality-improvement project with faculty mentorship. An optional second year is available for fellows interested in advanced clinical research training.
