Fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology

The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 1-year advanced specialty fellowship designed for graduates of pediatric hematology-oncology fellowships or related fields. The program provides comprehensive training in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up of pediatric brain tumors and other nervous-system tumors, with multidisciplinary rotations in neurology, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, endocrinology, cancer epidemiology, and survivorship. Fellows also gain experience in inpatient and outpatient care, Phase I and II clinical trials, and basic and translational research through the Masonic Cancer Center’s Brain Tumor Program, with an emphasis on preparing graduates for academic careers in pediatric neuro-oncology.

1. Submit the universal fellowship application.
2. Submit a current CV.
3. Submit a personal statement.
4. Submit USMLE Step I, II and III score reports.
5. Submit three letters of recommendation.
6. Letters should be addressed to the Program Director and emailed directly by the letter writers to the fellowship coordinator.
7. The program reviews applications and selects qualified candidates for admission.
