Fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology

The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a one-year fellowship designed to prepare physicians for careers in the care of children with central nervous system (CNS) tumors and research into pediatric brain and spinal tumors. The program offers flexible training tailored to the fellow’s career goals, including weekly pediatric neuro-oncology clinics, development of a primary patient panel, and rotations in neuropathology and neuroradiology. Additional training in radiation oncology, neuropsychology, ophthalmology, and neurology is available based on the fellow’s interests. Fellows can also continue or develop basic, translational, and clinical research during the fellowship year.

1. Prepare an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
2. Prepare a Statement of Interest describing your training, career interests and goals in pediatric neuro-oncology
3. Submit the statement of interest and CV by email to the Fellowship Director
4. Applications are reviewed by the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship Program
5. Selected applicants may be invited for an interview/discussion
6. Final selection is made by the fellowship program
7. Successful candidates must complete the applicable University of Colorado institutional credentialing and clinical training requirements before starting the fellowship
