The Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship is a 3-year ACGME-accredited program that prepares physicians for careers in academic pediatric cardiology through comprehensive clinical training, research, and education. Fellows receive extensive experience in congenital and acquired heart disease, fetal cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, cardiac intensive care, heart failure, cardiac imaging, and outpatient cardiology. The curriculum includes a clinically focused first year, progressive clinical responsibility and research in the second year, and advanced research with continued clinical training in the third year. Additional research training is available for fellows pursuing academic careers.
