Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited Paediatrics residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Apply through ERAS and participate in the NRMP Match.
• Submit a CV, personal statement, letters of recommendation, and other required documents.
• Successfully complete interviews and credentialing requirements.

The Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine offers comprehensive training in all aspects of pediatric cardiovascular medicine. Fellows gain extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired heart disease through rotations in echocardiography, cardiac catheterisation, electrophysiology, cardiac intensive care, and outpatient cardiology. The curriculum integrates clinical excellence with research, quality improvement, and educational activities under the guidance of distinguished faculty. Training at a nationally recognised children’s hospital provides exposure to a diverse and complex patient population. Fellows develop the skills necessary for leadership in academic medicine and specialised pediatric cardiology practice. Graduates are exceptionally well prepared for careers dedicated to advancing the cardiovascular health of children.
