Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia

Applicants should have completed MD / DNB in Anesthesia, or equivalent or having Post Graduate Diploma in Anesthesia (DA) with Two years experience.

The course objective is to provide in intense, structured training program for Post MD/DA (Anesthesia) candidates, so as to enhance quality of Anesthetic Management in Pediatric Surgeries. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). It is a full time course as per the RGUHS guidelines and candidates will not be permitted to work elsewhere.

In the event of the candidate leaving the course by discountenance or otherwise and thus failing to complete course;

1. The fee paid by candidate will not be refunded.
2. The stipend drawn by the candidate from the Institute during the period of the Fellowship program to be paid to Institute.

Academic Activities:

1. Weekly Seminars/Journal club
2. Monthly Lectures by faculty
3. CTS Seminars
4. CTC discussions
5. One publications or two representations at State/National level.
6. Internal assessment every six months
7. Final certifying examinations (clinical & Practical) examiners-National Faculty)

Scheme of Examination:

• Written: Theory – 2 Papers of 3 hours duration, Paper-1 : Basic Sciences, Paper-2: Recent Advances & Journals
• Clinical Examinations: Long Case – One, Short Case – Two
• VIVA VOCE: X – Rays, Anesthetic Equipment & Machines

The candidates will be selected from 4 member RGUHS approved panel by interview. If necessary entrance test will be conducted. Preference will be given to candidates with 3 yrs experience.

1. Photos –2
2. SSLC Marks card.
3. MBBS Degree Certificate and marks cards for all the four years.
4. MD/ DNB (Anesthesiology)/ DA Certificates / Marks card / Convocation Certificates
5. KMC Registration Certificate (updated qualification)
6. Migration certificate (Other than Karnataka State Candidates)
7. Application of in-service candidates should be routed through proper channel only.
8. Experience Certificate if any.
