Fellowship In Orthopedics

• Candidate must be a young Orthopaedic Surgeon
• Applicant should generally be below 40 years of age at the time of application
• Preference is given to surgeons interested in deformity correction, limb reconstruction, and advanced orthopaedic subspecialties
• Candidates should have relevant postgraduate training in Orthopaedics (MS/DNB Orthopaedics or equivalent)

The Dr. G.S. Kulkarni Fellowship is a specialized orthopaedic training program focused on limb lengthening, deformity correction, adult reconstructive surgery, and complex limb reconstruction. Conducted at Dr. G.S. Kulkarni Hospital, Miraj, Maharashtra, under the aegis of the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), the fellowship provides young orthopaedic surgeons with advanced clinical exposure and practical training in techniques such as the Ilizarov method, deformity assessment, surgical planning, management of limb discrepancies, non-unions, malunions, and complex orthopaedic deformities. The program aims to enhance subspecialty skills and prepare surgeons to manage challenging reconstructive orthopaedic cases effectively.
