Fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesia

1. Completion of appropriate anesthesiology training before starting the fellowship.
2. A valid California medical license is required before the fellowship begins.
3. International Medical Graduates must submit a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate.

The fellowship provides training in obstetric anesthesia, including the management of high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. Fellows work with multidisciplinary teams and participate in evaluating high-risk obstetric patients and developing appropriate anesthesia plans. Two-week rotations in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provide additional experience in managing complex maternal and fetal conditions. Training also includes lectures, journal clubs, simulation courses, and research opportunities.
