Fellowship in Neurosurgical Anaesthesia

The Neurosurgical Anesthesiology Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine offers advanced subspecialty training in the anesthetic care of patients undergoing complex neurosurgical and neurointerventional procedures. Fellows gain extensive experience in the management of intracranial and spinal surgeries, awake craniotomies, and procedures requiring sophisticated neurophysiologic monitoring. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based perioperative care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the application of cutting-edge technologies to optimize neurologic outcomes. • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Submission of a completed application, CV, personal statement, and letters of recommendation.
• Successful completion of interviews and credentialing requirements.
