Fellowship in Neuroendovascular Intervention Radiology

The Neuroendovascular Intervention Fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School is a 24-month ACGME-accredited fellowship providing advanced training in minimally invasive treatment of cerebrovascular and spinal vascular diseases. Fellows receive comprehensive exposure to conditions including acute stroke, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, vascular stenosis, and spinal vascular abnormalities. The program offers hands-on experience with advanced neuroendovascular techniques, state-of-the-art biplane angiography, 3D angiography, cone-beam CT, and opportunities to participate in clinical, basic, and translational research through the New England Center for Stroke Research. Fellows also participate in multidisciplinary conferences involving neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, and neurocritical care.

1. Complete the Fellowship Application.
2. Submit a Personal Statement.
3. Submit an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
4. Provide three Letters of Recommendation, including one from the residency program director.
5. Submit USMLE scores, including successful completion of Steps 1, 2 CK, 2 CS, and 3.
6. Submit the medical school transcript.
7. Submit the Dean’s Letter.
8. Provide an ECFMG Certificate, if applicable.
9. An IR procedure log may be submitted optionally.
10. Candidates are considered for an interview after all required application materials have been received.
