The Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is a one-year ACGME-accredited program offering comprehensive training in the evaluation and treatment of neuromuscular disorders. Fellows gain extensive experience caring for patients with peripheral neuropathies, myopathies, motor neuron diseases, and disorders of neuromuscular transmission. The curriculum includes intensive instruction in electromyography and nerve conduction studies, as well as exposure to muscle and nerve pathology. Fellows collaborate closely with rehabilitation specialists, pulmonologists, and genetic counselors to provide multidisciplinary care. Opportunities for research, teaching, and scholarly activity are integrated throughout the fellowship year. Graduates are exceptionally well prepared for careers in academic neurology and specialized neuromuscular practice.
