Fellowship in Nephrology

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Apply through ERAS and participate in the NRMP Match.
• Submit a completed application, CV, personal statement, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and examination scores.
• Successfully complete interviews and credentialing requirements.

The Nephrology Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is a two-year ACGME-accredited program offering comprehensive training in clinical nephrology and kidney research. Fellows gain experience in inpatient and outpatient nephrology, including dialysis modalities, kidney transplantation, critical care nephrology, and the management of complex electrolyte and acid-base disorders.
