Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging

The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a one-year clinical fellowship providing comprehensive training across the full spectrum of musculoskeletal imaging, with a strong emphasis on diagnostic imaging. Fellows gain extensive experience in MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography, fluoroscopy, sports medicine, trauma, and orthopedic oncology, along with hands-on training in image-guided procedures such as arthrography, joint injections, spine interventions, biopsies, drainages, and tube placements. The fellowship also includes teaching, research opportunities, multidisciplinary conferences, and 8 weeks of elective time that can be used for research or rotations in other radiology subspecialties.

1. Complete the University of Minnesota fellowship application form.
2. Submit the Curriculum Vitae (CV).
3. Submit the medical school transcript.
4. Submit USMLE results and ECFMG documentation, as applicable.
5. Submit 3 letters of recommendation, including one from the applicant's program director.
6. Submit a personal statement.
7. Send the completed application materials to the GME Program Administrator, Dora Starr Poulos.
8. Eligible applicants are invited for virtual interviews. Interviews are conducted between November 1 and March 31 under the SCARD embargo agreement.
