The Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship at UAB Heersink School of Medicine is a one-year, clinically focused program providing specialized training in the diagnosis and management of Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroimmunological disorders. Fellows receive intensive experience in specialized Multiple Sclerosis and neuroimmunology clinics, multidisciplinary care, infusion management, lumbar punctures, and intrathecal baclofen pump management. The program also includes research exposure, case conferences, journal clubs, seminars, and mentorship, with opportunities to tailor training according to individual career interests.
