Fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology

1. Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent medical degree.
2. Completion of Neurology residency training before starting the fellowship.
3. Meet Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education eligibility requirements. Applicants from international medical schools must have graduated from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) and have current Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification or the required unrestricted United States medical licensure.
4. Meet applicable California medical licensing and Cedars-Sinai credentialing requirements.
5. Demonstrated clinical or academic interest in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), neuroimmunology, and related neuroinflammatory disorders.
6. Meet any additional specialty-specific requirements applicable to the fellowship.

The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neuroimmunology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced training in the diagnosis and management of Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroimmunologic disorders. Fellows gain clinical experience with complex neuroinflammatory conditions, including Multiple Sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, autoimmune encephalitis, myelitis, and related disorders. The program provides exposure to advanced neuroimaging, disease-modifying therapies, multidisciplinary patient care, clinical trials, and research activities focused on improving the understanding and treatment of neuroimmunologic diseases.

1. Complete the required medical degree and Neurology residency training.
2. Prepare the required application documents, such as curriculum vitae, personal statement, educational records, and recommendation letters.
3. Submit the fellowship application through the application process specified by Cedars-Sinai.
4. The program reviews applicants based on their clinical training, academic background, research interests, and suitability for advanced Multiple Sclerosis and neuroimmunology training.
5. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview.
6. Selected candidates complete Cedars-Sinai credentialing, California licensing, and Graduate Medical Education onboarding requirements before beginning the fellowship.
