The Fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis at UC Irvine School of Medicine, Irvine is a one-year advanced clinical fellowship that provides specialized training in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of multiple sclerosis (MS) and other demyelinating disorders of the central nervous system. Fellows gain comprehensive clinical experience through the UCI Health Multiple Sclerosis Program, managing patients with MS, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), MOG antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), and related neuroimmunological conditions. The program emphasizes multidisciplinary patient care, disease-modifying therapies, neuroimmunology, and participation in clinical trials and research. An optional additional one to two years of research training is available for fellows pursuing academic careers in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology.
