The Microsurgery Fellowship at Ochsner Health is a one-year advanced clinical training program offered through the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in New Orleans, Louisiana. The fellowship provides exposure to upper and lower extremity microsurgical reconstruction, breast and trunk reconstruction, deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP), profunda artery perforator (PAP) and lumbar artery perforator (LAP) flap procedures, as well as lymphedema surgery and breast revision procedures. Fellows gain experience in complex reconstructive surgical techniques under the guidance of experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
