Fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology

1. Must have completed a dermatology residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in the United States, or an eligible dermatology residency accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
2. Must meet the program's requirements for postgraduate clinical training before starting the fellowship.
3. Candidates interested in academic dermatology are strongly encouraged to apply.
4. Must be prepared to complete a research project for publication and presentation at a national meeting.
5. Must be willing to participate in resident education and procedural dermatology teaching.

The Fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at UC San Diego School of Medicine provides advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer treatment, reconstructive surgery, and dermatologic oncology. 2. Complete the centralized fellowship application and submit all required documents through the matching service.
3. Submit the completed application by August 1, 2026, for the applicable match cycle.
4. Participate in the program's selection process according to its instructions. For the current academic year, in-person interviews and visiting rotations are not offered.
5. Successful applicants begin the fellowship on August 1, according to the program schedule.
