The Medical Toxicology Fellowship at UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco is a two-year ACGME-accredited subspecialty fellowship program that provides advanced training in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of poisoning, drug overdoses, and toxic exposures. The program offers comprehensive clinical experience through rotations at UCSF-affiliated hospitals, the California Poison Control System, and other partner institutions, where fellows gain expertise in acute toxicology management, poison center consultation, occupational and environmental toxicology, pediatric exposures, toxicology research, and medical education. Fellows participate in clinical consultations, teaching activities, research projects, conferences, and scholarly work to develop skills for careers in academic medicine, emergency medicine, poison control centers, and toxicology practice.
