Fellowship in Interventional Radiology

The Interventional Radiology – Independent Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai provides advanced training in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of complex medical conditions. The program develops expertise in vascular and nonvascular interventions, angiography, embolization, vascular access, interventional oncology and other image-guided procedures, with fellows gaining experience in pre-procedure assessment, procedural techniques and post-procedure patient care. Training also includes multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching, conferences and research.

1. Complete the required Diagnostic Radiology residency/training.
2. Prepare the application, including CV, personal statement, medical education records and letters of recommendation.
3. Submit the application through ERAS.
4. The program reviews applications and selects candidates for interview.
5. Attend the interview if selected.
6. Participate in the NRMP Main Match.
7. Complete California medical licensing, Cedars-Sinai credentialing and GME onboarding.
8. Begin the 2-year Interventional Radiology–Independent program.
