The Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, Los Angeles is a one-year comprehensive fellowship focused on advanced percutaneous techniques for the management of coronary, vascular, and valvular heart disease. Fellows receive supervised clinical and procedural training at Los Angeles General Medical Center, with emphasis on safe coronary and peripheral interventions, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, and the use of devices such as rotational atherectomy systems, balloons, stents, and filter devices. The program also includes didactic conferences, weekly case conferences, pre- and post-procedure patient reviews, cath conference discussions, teaching activities, and opportunities to develop the procedural skills and experience required to meet fellowship volume requirements.
