The International Minimally Invasive Urology Fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine is an advanced training program designed for urologists worldwide who wish to develop expertise in minimally invasive urologic techniques. The fellowship provides comprehensive exposure to laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic procedures, robotic-assisted surgery, and other advanced minimally invasive approaches in urology. Fellows receive hands-on training through the UCI Surgical Training Center, including laparoscopic and endoscopic skill development using simulation platforms, virtual reality training devices, and surgical laboratory experiences. The program also provides opportunities to observe complex urologic procedures, participate in research activities, and work with experienced faculty in minimally invasive urology. The training is designed to help fellows develop advanced surgical skills and establish minimally invasive urology programs in their home institutions.
