The head & neck surgical oncology fellowship program at KMCH offers a wide range and volume of cases for acquiring surgical skills. These include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, surgery for tumors of the oral cavity, oropharynx, larynx and hypopharynx, transoral laser/robotic surgery, parotidectomy, endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, and reconstructive surgery. The fellow would progress through a structured training program that involves initial assisting, followed by supervised and independent operating. Clinical research is essential and publication of at least one peer reviewed original article is expected.
